Bio

As a member of the Editors’ Association of Canada (EAC) since 2003, I am dedicated to professional standards in my work. I have a Master’s degree in Linguistics and both in-house and freelance experience editing, proofreading, and writing.

Editing experience includes working in the medical, pharmaceutical advertising, and continuing health/medical education (CHE/CME) fields. I have also worked on theses and other academic texts; materials for not-for-profit events, multimedia presentations and websites; and résumés and cover letters. Freelance writing experience includes investigating and writing health-related articles for a local publication and copy writing a newsletter and other marketing materials. I also indulge in creative writing and am a member of The World Guild.

When not busy at my desk, I can usually be found enjoying nature with my dog, Molly. Health and fitness are important to me, and I enjoy running, playing soccer, and boxing.
